Below is shown the full Menu and Icon bar that appears at the top of the StarFisher screen once you finish the chart data entry or chart selection process.

StarFisher Menu-Icon bars

The instructions that follow will use Napoleon Bonaparte’s natal data for entry and chart calculation purposes.  A standard Microsoft Windows menu bar is provided with an icon bar below it.  Many of these icons are common for many programs, the icons in the middle and right side are easy to grasp once you have an occasion to use them once.

01 natal entryThe first screen, “New Horoscope” pops up when you click on the StarFisher icon to start the program.  The Horoscope Type is set to standard, leave this as is. For accessing prior-created charts, click on “load” to view a listing of available charts.  For our purposes here, click on “new”  Ignore the blue box, “Date.”  The fields below refer to the date information needed to be input.  Hover the mouse pointer over each of the month-day-year inputs and input the date.  The date entries do not step forward with tab key. Next, enter the time and choose AM or PM.  If Day Light Savings time is to be applied, click on the DST check box  Click on OK.  Napoleon was born August 15, 1769 at 11:00 AM, Ajaccio, France, LMT.  41n55, 8e44.  Then, click on OK.

02 Natal data entry

After the data entry screen is OK’d, an Event Data screen will display, confirming the data previously entered.  In this example, that data is not shown, only the screen format is shown.  So much for copy and paste practices.

The Atlas button will only display a few locations.  For each new chart and its location that you enter, you can save that locational data and name for quich access at a later chart entry.

You can also enter any notes you wish into the notes field.

When done, click on OK.
